How To Play Lotería
To play Lotería, each player gets a board, one person calls cards, and players mark the images that appear on their board. The first player to complete the chosen pattern wins.
Leer esta guía en españolThe best Lotería games are simple to explain. Give everyone a board, call the cards one by one, and let players mark the cards they have. The fun is in the anticipation, the jokes, and the little reactions when a card feels too real.
For parties, keep the rules short. Pick one winning pattern before the round starts, keep the caller moving, and have a small prize or bragging rights ready.
Basic rules
Give each player a board. Shuffle the calling cards. Call one card at a time. If a player has that card on their board, they mark it. The first player to complete the chosen pattern calls out.

Popular winning patterns
The most common patterns are four in a row, four in a column, diagonals, and four corners. For faster party games, four corners is quick and exciting.
